Louisville is one of the few US cities without museum specifically dedicated to children from 2 to 13. That's the main reason why the Ideas Contest was launched. The competition, open both to professionals and students, aimed at finding innovative ideas in the museum organization itself but also in its architectural expression of the building and its construction elements

elements. The children's museum of Louisville is thought out as a toy box in which different boxes are arranged. The principle is to keep a same course while providing perspectives and different spaces at each level.
